Gurley's First Walking Park dedicated on November 2nd, 2003. This park is outfitted with a walking trail, stage, playground, and exercise equipment. It is home to some of Gurley Alabama's most integral community events including our annual 4th of July firework display and Kathryn's Kids by Graces of Gurley. The park is open for community and private event reservation. To reserve a date and time please fill out the reservation permit below and contact the Gurley Town Hall.
Gurley Recreation Center

Gurley's youth center owned and operated by Madison County Commission. The park offers opportunities for youth sports and activities such as, baseball/softball, basketball, volleyball, and cheerleading. The park is newly renovated to include pickle ball courts as well as a public pool that is operational from memorial day weekend to labor day. Gurley Historic District Monument
196 Sectionline Rd. Gurley, AL
Built by the Gurley Historical Association and maintained by the Town of Gurley. The Gurley Historic District Monument was dedicated on July 26th, 2024. This park signifies Gurley's ambition to maintain and restore the historic character of the town and its architecture. Preserving the towns history while providing new opportunities for investment in our community. The marker tells the History of the Town, while those who helped fund the monument were able to tell their own story through the placement of engraved bricks throughout the monument base.
